Illness of Care Giver

Care Givers are self-employed and do not get paid sick days.  However, it is in the agency's interest to find alternative child care services if the care provider is unable to look after the children.  Once the care provider has notified the agency, the agency will be responsible for contacting the parents to let them know that the care provider is ill.  The agency may try to arrange a substitute care giver, if one is available.  If alternative care is not available, parents will be required to make their own arrangements.
