Duties and Responsibilities of Director and Family Home Consultant


The Family Home Consultant must have:

* Completed a two-year diploma in early childhood education

* At least two years experience working in an early learning and childcare program

* Current first aid and CPR training

* Child Abuse Register check and Criminal Record check


The Director/Family Home Consultant is responsible for the following:

* ALL administrative duties

* Plans and implements play groups once a month

* Visits care providers and children in the home once a month and has planned activities

* Ensures that all care providers are in compliance with the Family Home Day Care Regulation as provided by the Department of Community Services
